NHS Pay: What's happening next?

Members will be aware that a pay offer has been made to NHS Staff in England and you may be wondering what the next steps are. Your Council will be considering the offer at its meeting on 13th April and then we will be going out to consult members on whether to accept the offer or not.

The consultation will only go to NHS Staff in England.

It would help greatly if you could ensure that we have an up to date email address on record, which to send the consultation to. Please login to your account online at www.scpod.org/account to add or amend any of your contact details.

If you have forgotten your login details, these can be easily reset by visiting www.scpod.org/register  and following the on screen instructions. You will need to know your Society membership number. Should you have any difficulty please contact our membership department at member@scpod.org with your name and membership number.

Information about the pay offer, can be found on the NHS Employers websiteYou can access more information and the Pay calculator by visiting the NHS Pay website. If you have any further questions, please email us at nhspay2018@scpod.org and we will do our best to help.

Steve Jamieson, CEO and General Secretary said:

‘It is important that our NHS members have access to all the information that they need before we ask them to vote on this matter. Hopefully the resources here, together with support from our workplace reps who will be receiving presentations on the offer shortly, means that our members will be able to make an informed decision.'

Talks are continuing in Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland.
