More than a quarter of British youngsters are wearing heels, ballet pumps and flip flops, new figures show.
As a result of their young age, they are more prone to long-term damage caused by wearing ill-fitting shoes, podiatrists warn.
Heels, worn traditionally by ladies on a night out, can shorten calf muscles and place pressure on the ball of the foot.Read more:
