The Finance Committee sets, drives and reviews the financial strategic direction in line with the strategic aims and objectives of the organisation, which has been approved by Council.  

It provides a robust review of all income and expenditure streams, linking into the membership committee to review membership targets and changes in member category.

It provides a review of the membership insurance cover (captive) in relation to the costs incurred and the patterns and trends produced. The outputs will inform both the clinical and employment relations teams.

It looks at commercial opportunities and diversifying income streams such as partnership working, sponsorship, and maximising brand potential alongside our External Affairs function.

It provides oversight and direction to ensure the finances and resources (including staff establishment) are enabling a fit for purpose and value for money member service.
