Podiatrists sought for HEE film project research

Health Education England (HEE) is looking for allied health professionals, with experience of working with people with learning disabilities, to take part in some research required in the making of a short film.

The British Association of Dramatherapists (BADth)  has been commissioned to produce the film, which will explore the impact of AHPs in changing the lives of people with learning disabilities.

They want to produce a powerful piece of work, that we can endorse and impacts positively on recruitment into our profession and on CPD.

In order to accurately reflect the effect podiatrists can have on the lives of these patients, and the effect they have on us, the film makers are asking for our opinions and advice on how we want our unique contribution to be portrayed and thereby recognised.

If you have experience of working with patients with learning disabilities and would like to take part, please contact James Coughtrey Head of Education & Professional Development (JC@scpod.org).
